Perfect for a couple, this lofty forest dwelling offers a modern steel and wood finish, a mezzanine upstairs bedroom with a huge verandah set in the trees. The downstairs has a stunningly comfy open-plan lounge and kitchen opening onto a lovely deck shaded by giant palms and wild fig trees. The Forest Retreat is set on the slopes of the mountain in Hout Bay, a mere 300 meters from a variety of specatular mountain hikes. The cottage has a natural spring pool, expect to swim with frogs and fish! The pool is a shared space but the owners respect your privacy and you will mostly be alone here.
